Nationwide User Options
How to Access
The subscriber can access Nationwide user options by using the number listed below.
bullet Dial 1-800-946-4646 plus your PIN (or dial your personal 800 number) from any touch tone phone.
bullet Interrupt the greeting by immediately pressing *.
bullet Enter PassCode (initially, the last four digits of your pager capcode).
Tutorial Options
The Nationwide Messaging Tutorial helps assist first time subscribers set up the passcode, personal greeting and spoken name features of his/her personal mailbox.

We have looked at the how to access the tutorial and reviewed the main options.Look at the process of each option individually. The customer should follow the instructions for accessing user options and then follow the appropriate option below.
To Change Your PassCode
We ask subscribers to change his/her PassCode to ensure privacy.
bullet Press U (8 key) for User Options.
bullet Press P (7 key) PassCode.
bullet Enter new four-digit PassCode. Your new PassCode will be repeated.
bullet Press X (9 key) to save new PassCode and exit.
Personal Greeting
A unique feature to USA Mobility Nationwide Messaging is the Personal Greeting. A caller will be greeted by your voice. Your Personal Greeting verifies they have reached you and gives them instructions on leaving the correct message.

For Subscribers with Numeric Messaging Only: "Hello, this is _____. Thank you for calling. At the tone, enter your telephone number from the touch-tone pad. I will be paged and will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you."

For Subscribers with Voice Messaging Capability: "Hello, this is ______. Thank you for calling. Please leave a complete voice message at the tone, or if you need me immediately, enter your telephone number from the touch-tone pad. I will be paged and will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you."

To Change Your Personal Greeting
For Subscribers with Numeric Voice Messaging Capability.
bullet Press U (8 key) for User Options.
bullet Press G (4 key) to change your Greeting.
bullet Press R (7 key) to Record a new greeting (up to 30 seconds).
bullet Press R (7 key) to Review the new greeting.
bullet Press X (9 key) to save your greeting and to exit.
Additional Options Feature
The Additional Options Feature allows the subscriber or informed caller to access Service Area Information, Future Page and Page Management Features of the USA Mobility Nationwide Messaging system.
Press # to access Additional Options.
Future Page
Program your numeric message to be sent at a future date and time.
(There is no limit to the number of future pages a customer can send.)
bullet Press 2 to send a future page.
bullet Enter phone number/numeric message.
bullet Enter time zone (E=Eastern; C=Central; M=Mountain; P=Pacific).
bullet Enter numeric month (10=October).
bullet Enter day (31=31 st ).
bullet Enter year (99=1999).
bullet Enter time (130=1:30).
bullet Enter A=A.M. or P=P.M.
bullet Message and time will be repeated. Confirm the message by pressing 1 to send or 2 to cancel. Note: The recording notes the time in the Central Time Zone. However, the future page is stored according to your selected time zone.
Page Listen or Resendgent
You can listen to or resend all previous text/numeric messages from any touch-tone phone.
bullet Press 3 for Page Management.
bullet Press 1 for Page Review. Your messages will be played back to you in the order of last in/first out. Press L (5 key) to Listen to the message again.
bullet To Resend any message to your pager, press R (7 key).
bullet To skip to the Next message, press N (6 key) or Discard by pressing D (3 key).
bullet To start review over from the Top of the list, press T (8 key).
bullet Press X (9 key) to return to Additional Options.
Page Hold

Any numeric or text messages can be held by the Nationwide system for a maximum of two weeks.

bullet Press 3 for Page Management.
bullet Press 2 for Page Hold.
bullet Enter the number of hours to hold pages (1 to 98 hours, or by pressing 99, your page will be held for 14 days).
Page Release

Page Release will release all held messages before the Page Hold time has expired.

bullet Press 3 for Page Management.
bullet Press 3 for Page Release.
bullet Press R (7 key). All Pages will be Released.
